We finish our review with discussion of Presidents George Bush, William Clinton and George W. Bush.  President Clinton, a Democrat, breaks the string of conservative Presidents.  Following his two terms, the country returns to a conservative approach with George W. What's with "Decision Points"? Bush has a new memoir entitled “Decision Points,” and in it, he presents a defense for his administration's decision to employ waterboarding techniques. I read this here: President Bush defends waterboarding in memoir The controversial interrogation technique was used by United States authorities to get details from radical Islamist prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. In an interview with Matt Lauer, George Bush said once more that he authorized the use of waterboarding because his lawful time assured him that it did not run legally afoul of the Anti-Torture Act.
